Abstract
This project demonstrates the need for cultural proficiency training and provides staff information and resources to increase awareness of the role of culture in teaching and learning. A staff cultural proficiency training was compiled for an urban high school where 30% of the student s are from non--majority cultural groups and 99% of the staff is white.
