Abstract
This project provides a detailed manual to assist elementary teachers in the design of successful integrated thematic curriculum units. This project reflects the most recent research related to learning theories of how the brain comprehends. The manual synthesises current procedures for integrative thematic curriculum development into a manual which includes a rational for integrative curriculum, a step procedure for development of integrated thematic units, and an integrated thematic unit.
